My ethos is to provide personal, ethical and loyal care to my patients, offering them the best support on their journey to psychological wellbeing and optimal personal functioning. My goal is to promote a secure and positive environment for psychological healing and recovery.

As a Psychologist my paradigm is built on the principles of a non-judgmental stance towards all people. I focus on a Cognitive Behavioural Intervention style within an integrated approach to problem-solving, with specific focus on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) should the intervention be indicated:

This psychotherapeutic intervention (EMDR) was developed by Francine Shapiro, to resolve symptoms resulting from disturbing and in most cases unresolved life experiences / trauma and is effective for trauma-related issue. EMDR is one of the only two interventions recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the treatment of PTSD. EMDR is used for a variety of other psychological issues varying form Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Anxiety / Panic
Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Psychosomatic Disorders, Psycho-medical conditions, Depression, sexual dysfunctions and Disorders (to only mention some). EMDR is backed by overwhelming empirical evidence with scientifically proven efficacy. For more information on EMDR click here.

My style is direct, honest and transparent. My philosophy towards life is to walk the extra mile and to live my passion for my work at all times. Loyalty, hard work and trust are the pillars that I have built my personal and work philosophy on. My involvement in my work can be considered an intense need to venture beyond the ordinary and to explore new and challenging frontiers rather than to stagnate. More about my Work Experience.

Kalymnos, Greece

Almost yearly and for many years now, I visit my most favorite Island on the Planet, Kalymnos, Greece. It is here where I recharge my brain’s energy, regain strengths, reflect and gain new and deeper insight into myself to be able to give back and live my life passion for the human psyche. Below some pictures taken over years.

I also live my life according to the following principle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Then, excellence, is not an act but a habit” - Aristotle
